LOUISIANA BREWS

THE BEER LIST

Abita Amber

A Munich style lager brewed with pale and caramel malts and German Perle hops. It has a smooth, malty, slightly caramel flavor and a rich amber color.

Purple Haze

A lager brewed with real raspberries added after filtration. It is brewed with pilsner and wheat malts and Vanguard hops. The berries add a fruity aroma, tartly sweet taste and a subtle purple color and haze... you may see fruit pulp in the beer.

Turbo Dog

A dark brown ale brewed with pale, caramel, and chocolate malts and Willamette hops. This combination gives Turbodog® its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate, toffee-like flavor.

LA 31 Pale Ale

A distinct new style of beer using Belgian malts and American hops and yeast. It is bronze colored with a biscuity malt center, herbal hop flavors and a gentle, mellow bitterness.

Ragin Cajun Ale

A Ko¨lsch-style ale brewed with barley, rice and multiple additions of German-grown, noble hops to produce a magnificent balance of hop bitterness, taste and aroma.

Pontchartrain Pilsner

Light in body with the beautiful golden straw color that is a hallmark of the genre, Pontchartrain Pilsner's thoughtfully crafted blend of German Northern Brewer, Hallertauer Perle and Spalter hops imbue it with a wonderful mellow aroma, complemented by a smooth, lightly hopped finish.

Strawberry Ale

This year-round-beer favorite combines genuine strawberry puree with a classic Cream Ale to create a uniquely flavorful experience.

Holy Roller

A big, bold IPA for all of us caught between best intentions and bad behavior. It’s for the golden moment between Saturday night sins and Sunday’s repentance.

Southern Drawl

A hop forward lager with complex, citrusy aromas derived from German hops and wheat phenols.

Blond Ale

Light on the palate, full-flavored and well-balanced. Five malts and two hops provide a nice blend of mild sweetness and bright bitterness.

Cane Break Wheat Ale

A crisp and smooth with a beautiful golden honey color. This refreshing American wheat style brew highlights sweet remnants of sugarcane with notes of honey, spice, and citrus on the finish.

Batture Blonde Ale

An easy drinking beer brewed with gently kilned pale malts and classic European hops.

IPA

Heaps of late kettle and dry hops, along with a restrained malt bill and hop-friendly water profile come together to produce an IPA with a great floral aroma and assertive citrus/grapefruit flavor.

Bayou Bengal Lager

Pilsner malt lends a light malty background, and plenty of corn suggests sweetness while keeping the beer light enough for football season in Louisiana.

Juke Joint IPA

India Pale Ale with a solid malt backbone, huge floral and citrus aroma, and a nice strong bitterness up front that fades and does not leave you puckered. Juke Joint is the aroma hop lover’s dream.

Southern Pecan Nut Brown Ale

First beer in the world, to our knowledge, made with whole roasted pecans.  This beer is very lightly hopped to allow the malty, caramel, and nutty flavors shine through. The color is dark mahogany. Southern Pecan won a Bronze Medal in the 2006 World Beer Cup in the Specialty Beer category.
